He is passionate about driving improvements in public infrastructure for customers, making things safer, better, more productive and cost effective - taking concepts into strategy, funding, procurement, construction delivery and asset management.
Over 25 years of experience in major infrastructure development, delivery and assurance for government and regulators, contractors and investors. He specialises in working with clients to identify options to improve delivery and supporting the teams to successfully implement these at all stages of project delivery.
He has a strong commercial and financial focus from structuring and negotiating contracts including major PPP/PFIs, through to establishing, and implementing efficiency programmes to support performance improvement.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics and Management (MEng) from Oxford University
• Member of the Institution of Civil Engineer and Institute of Engineering & Technology.
• Visiting lecturer at University College London on the Infrastructure Investment and Finance MSc and previously a STEM Ambassador promoting engineering to children.
Stewart enjoys being outside with family and friends, whether its hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing or rafting and may even be found on a beach … but not for very long.
