Peter is motivated to learn new things; he believes that the more you learn will lead to better and more fulfilled experiences in life. Peter is passionate on green sustainable building practices, renewable energies and assisting the construction industry in how it intends to move forward and achieve sustainable targets in the future.
Originally, Peter first started in the construction industry whilst working for a marine and yacht harbour construction company in Australia for two years as a general labourer and moved up into the project management side.
In London, Peter worked for a client-side construction consultancy specialising in contract administration and project management. Peter’s biggest achievement was creating and implementing a quick and cost-effective strategy to progress a project quickly after a contractor fell into administration.
• Peter undertook his undergraduate degree at the University of Bangor in BSC Sport and Exercise Science, for many years he saw this as a waste as he worked within the construction industry. However, looking back he believes its shaped his competitive drive to succeed in all areas of his professional life.
• Whilst working for Peter’s last company he completed a part time Master's at the University of Westminster in MSC Construction Project Management to accelerate his career development.
• Peter now looks to start his MRICS chartership this year.
Peter is keen on all sports especially tennis and surfing but most recently turned his hand to sailing where him and 5 friends share a small sailing yacht in Devon. Last year Peter also built a small wooden dinghy that they now use to board the bigger boat.
