André’s passion for construction began in childhood, spending hours with Legos, designing and creating structures. This love for building led him to pursue a Master’s in Civil Engineering at the University of Porto, complemented by a year at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he gained international insight into the industry.
Driven by a desire to move abroad, André’s professional journey began with an internship at a French contractor in Paris, where he worked for several years, gaining invaluable experience. With eight years in the industry, he has worked across various sectors, managing projects from conception to delivery. His transition into consultancy allowed him to specialize in client-side cost management, delivering value and creative solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• André loves traveling and discovering new places and cultures. A football enthusiast, he enjoys playing the game with friends and also finds joy in going for a run to clear his mind and stay active.
• Music has always been a big part of André’s life. As a teenager, he played drums in a punk rock band, and to this day, music remains his go-to therapy. Whether drumming or simply listening, it helps him unwind and stay creative.
• His greatest adventure has been fatherhood. Watching his 10-month-old daughter, Amália, grow and discover the world has been more rewarding than any professional milestone.
