Being able to come to work and make a difference work towards something with good purpose. Moving the construction industry forward utilizing new technologies and digitalization. Like learning new things to do with project controls and project management. A nerd for all things tech related, playing video games and a playing/reading/watching a good story. Love doing a bit of DIY.
Started off with an apprenticeship in project controls over 10 years ago working in the mechanical fabrications and installations space. Worked at different places over the years such as contractors, Tier 1 clients and consultants, in a number of sectors in infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas / petrochemical. Worked on some very large complex projects, programmes and portfolios in several roles from planning, estimating, risk and cost management through to project controls management. Have a BSc First Class Honors in Project Management from Leeds Beckett University and won the APM award for best major project.

Recently taken up running but still yet to hit the 5k mark. Been playing the guitar for 10+ years but don’t get onto it as much as I’d like to. Like getting into the gym, going for long walks, nights away with the wife, going out for good food and being social with my friends / family. Have a real passion for music and like pretty much all types and going to see bands/gigs and festivals. Also about to be a father with a baby boy on the way!
