Daniel is driven by a no nonsense approach to planning and project controls and believes in clear and simple communication to ensure that all stakeholders can clearly understand the "dark arts" of project planning whether that be the steel fixer, site manager, managing director or owner.
Daniel enjoys working in a diverse team, being challenged to deliver complex projects and particularly enjoys getting involved in underperforming projects, helping teams bring clarity and direction to deliver best outcomes for all stakeholders.
Daniel started his construction career 18 years ago as a site engineer for a main contractor. After 2 years of “boots on the ground” he moved in to the world of planning and project controls delivering many diverse and complex building projects across the UK and Ireland such as schools, hospitals, student accommodation, and leisure facilities specialising in the recovery of underperforming and challenging projects.
For the last 5 years, Daniel has worked as head of planning for a high end fit out contract or delivering projects in high end retail, stadia, high end residential, and leisure where he has built a planning team from the ground up, leading a team of experienced planners providing support to deliver extremely challenging client requirements in a sector driven by fast project turn arounds to maximise customer revenue.

• Daniel loves running. He has run 5 marathons and nearly 250 Park Runs (amongst many other distances) so far - His favourite topic is talking about his running injuries!
• Daniel once beat Paula Radcliffe (multiple London marathon winner) in a race.
