Juliana's roots trace back to East-Timor, but for the better part of her life, she has lived, studied, and built her career in Portugal.
Juliana kicked off her career journey back in 2015 at a small HR consultancy firm, where she quickly discovered her knack for recruitment and has been in the game ever since. With a solid foundation in both agency and in-house recruitment teams, she's dipped her toes in various sectors – from IT and Life Sciences to BPO, Crypto, and now she's hoping to make waves in Construction/Business Consultancy over at Laminar.
But the highlight of Juliana's career was the time she built a Sourcing Hub from the ground up at Kelly Services. She handpicked and trained a stellar team, steering them to productivity without micromanaging, ensuring they kept their independence every step of the way.

Juliana was nicknamed "Sopa" in school, which means "soup" in Portuguese, all thanks to a soup that shared her name. When she's not working, you can find her hanging out with her family and friends, throwing punches in Muay Thai to beat stress, binge-watching true crime docs, or getting lost in thriller books on her Kindle. She also loves to try out new recipes in the kitchen, always eager to impress her partner with her latest culinary experiment.
