Patrick is a firm believer in a common-sense approach to construction projects. With confusion a killer to any delivery success, he's always strived to demonstrate clarity in his work. Being a big supporter of digitalisation on projects, he understands the fundamental benefit of presenting ‘the plan’ visually. His mantra is ‘work smarter, not harder’.
He's an advocate of solid communication, understanding that it's one of the most undervalued and important aspects of projects, not only to the delivery team, but also to clients and stakeholders.
He enjoys working in a diverse and thriving team – brainstorming ideas, solving problems and delivering ‘the job’ at hand. He's a devotee of team development through solid leadership, mentoring and sharing his experience with others.
Born in Birmingham to Irish parents, Patrick’s love for construction came from his dad who ‘worked on the buildings’ since emigrating from Ireland as a teenager. Starting as a site engineer, Patrick rose through the ranks to become a project manager before stepping into the world of planning.
He's contributed to a range of significant projects in civils, highways and rail throughout the UK and Australia. Notable projects include M42 J6, HS2 Main Works and Coventry Rail Station. Patrick is a member of APM and is looking to gain chartership in years to come. He's also excited to be a part of the digital drive for the construction sector.

• He loves a challenge – recently, he completed an Ironman triathlon, did a month of ice baths, and is now learning Spanish (badly!).
• He has a pet Jack Russell dog called Seamus!
