My motivation and vision lies in digitizing construction workflows so the construction industry can rival the efficiency gains of neighboring industries such as manufacturing. I’m passionate about innovations in construction and driven by its potential to improve peoples lives.
My career started in architecture; however, I was demotivated by the fact that projects lacked digitization; therefore, I transitioned into building information modelling (BIM), hoping to make a difference in how assets were managed and built. After studying BIM and working as a BIM Coordinator, I was awarded a PhD scholarship at University College London, allowing me to expand my knowledge in digital construction further. After completing the PhD, I decided that returning to the industry was the correct place because I wanted to be directly involved with the development of digital solutions for construction, and thus I arrived at Laminar.
