What Drives Him
David co-founded Laminar with an idea of gathering some of the best and brightest in the construction industry to help clients improve their project delivery by supporting them to implement best practice project management and the latest technology. He believes that it is all about the people and if you have that right everything else take care of themselves.
Back Story and Achievements
Originally from Australia, he has also lived and worked in Egypt, The Netherlands, Sweden and the UK.
He has been a structural engineer, construction engineer, estimator and planning manager on projects ranging from £1m to £4B.
He has previously worked for CB&I (now McDermott) and Hochtief.

- Bachelor of Civil and Structural Engineering with Honours
- Bachelor of Economics
- Lean Construction Institute, Association of Project Managers
