Aneeka thrives off of complexity and undertaking engineering challenges that slightly scare her!
She enjoys delivering success in high-performing teams through maintaining a values-led approach, holistic decision making and care for those involved.
Her favourite moments are when the creative juices are flowing and everybody gathers around to share ideas to solve complex problems.
Aneeka has 10 years of experience delivering complex Civil Engineering projects across a range of disciplines in the tunnelling, rail, highways and commercial sectors. Most of Aneeka’s career was spent in Tier 1 Contracting, on some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the country such as Crossrail, the A14 Highways Improvement Scheme and HS2.
More recently, she has led three large teams and complex projects to success ranging in value from £10m to £17m. This includes planning & executing Euston Station’s biggest rail blockade in 40 years and self-delivering basement construction metres from operational rail traffic.
Aneeka’s passion for engineering and contribution to learning has resulted in industry recognition, including winning the ‘Technical Excellence’ Category at the Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Awards 2024.
