Marta has a strong background in Governance, Compliance and Information Security, with over 15 years working in the area in the most various industries: banking, high tech, aviation, retail, consultancy, among others. What moves her is not only to contribute to an enhanced overall health in organizations by meeting the right compliance levels, but essentially to be a part of the protection effort of assets, systems and people in the world, in a broader sense!
Marta is from Porto in Portugal but has lived abroad for some years in different European countries; she is currently living in Lisbon, Portugal. Throughout her career she had the chance to be part of the triggering teams of important projects that became some of the greatest companies in the market, namely in the banking area, technology and services and in the cloud security consultancy business.

Marta has also been a flight attendant in the early age of her career, she loves to travel and to be in touch with different cultures. She is a constant learner, appreciates art and creativity. She reads a lot and writes a bit! She keeps herself active through Pilates, and has a 2-year-old Dachshund called Romeu.
