What Drives Her

Susie loves using the power of storytelling to build brands. Her superpower is making the complex contents simple, and giving marketing content the ‘So What? Factor’.

Back Story and Achievements

Susie’s love of storytelling began when she worked as a journalist on regional newspapers in the UK, and a title on the Costa Blanca, targeted at Expats.
For the next 15 years, she applied the same storytelling skills in PR and Marketing roles across 11 heavy/B2B industries, including construction and infrastructure (Amey press office/comms), utilities/energy, transport and supply chain.
Susie loves supporting NBD. A highlight was going to Texas with a Sales Director, where together, they secured a $multi-billion client in Oil & Gas.
Susie has been a self-employed marketing consultant for the last six years. But, after securing global press coverage for expert mountaineer Kenton Cool’s record 16th summit of Everest, she felt she had peaked – literally.
She’s now excited about applying her skills to support growth at Laminar.
