What Drives Her
Stacey is driven by the desire to support people to adopt digital approaches, by adapting and implementing processes to suit increased uses of technology and emerging industry standards, and highlighting opportunities to streamline design and construction processes from pre-construction through to handover.
Back Story and Achievements
Stacey joined Laminar after 10 years of working for main contractors in the heavy civils and infrastructure sector – mostly in nuclear and highways projects. She started off in a site based engineering role before moving into digital and information management roles to support construction teams make the most of emerging digital tools and data throughout the project lifecycle. Particular focuses have been in digital site forms, asset data, visual planning, and the adoption of processes in line with BS1192/ISO 19650. She works with project teams to tailor implementation to their needs, and feels that benefits of digitalisation are only realised when the whole team are engaged.
