What Drives Him
Michel enjoys challenges, especially the learning opportunities gained to progress & develop. He is driven by the need to make a difference – by leveraging his experiences gained in the construction industry thus far – to give back; by sharing knowledge, contributing to teams and delivering added value to projects and organisations. He is a champion of and continuously seeks to contribute to the innovation & digitisation of the construction industry, as he sees this as the primary catalyst to the transformation and improvement of the built environment industry as a whole
Back Story and Achievements
He started his career in the Republic of Ireland, where he attended university. After that, he worked in New York, the United Kingdom, Germany & recently, Sweden. He has ten years of experience working in the construction industry as a field engineer, project management, and project controls & up to recently in planning. He has worked on several projects – bridges, utilities & power, rail, roads, and recently tunnelling – as a specialist subcontractor, main contractor & client side through a project management consultancy.

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management & Engineering
Fun Facts
He enjoys travelling, skiing, diving, sailing & boating, and playing chess and piano. He also enjoys the occasional BBQ & cooking with friends, especially Italian & Thai cuisines.
Michel is a qualified coastal sea skipper for the Sail & Power of vessels up to 24m. His future ambitions are to do an Atlantic crossing and attain the qualification of Master of Yachts
