As a software engineer, Jonny’s focus is on creating products that allow our customers to achieve far more, in a package that’s both easy and a delight to use.
He loves making awesome software products, and is equally excited by being part of leading the digital revolution in the construction industry.
Jonny started out in digital marketing, where he led SEO and email marketing campaigns before launching a new website. Having found a particular passion for the technical side of his role. He took up the role of manager of the Technology team, where he was able to oversee projects including migrating key infrastructure to the cloud, implementing a suite of data services and building web applications.
He decided to follow a long term goal: to learn to code and become a software engineer. He left his job and attended a coding boot camp. He then worked with a social media startup building the first version of a video sharing platform for influencers, before joining Laminar full time where he now works with the team building the next wave of software for the construction industry.
His other passion is education. He now lectures back at the boot camp where he learned to code helping the next wave of engineers.
Outside of work he loves reading and football, playing weekly, and following his childhood football team, Arsenal.
