As a product marketing manager, João’s focus is to help his team build digital products that make people’s lives easier and more enjoyable.
He loves to be close to the users, learn their journeys and behaviors, and use this to iterate and tailor solutions that help them achieve their goals.

Back Story and Achievements

João’s background is in management and marketing, but his old love for technology made him join the SaaS industry earlier in his career.
Initially, his focus was on marketing and customer experience, but as his contact with customers grew, so did his appreciation for building products that fit his customer’s needs. This made him embrace the product and marketing management field and start working closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to help design solutions that speak directly to the customers’ actual pains.
Before joining Shape to help the team revolutionize how the construction industry uses software to empower their jobs, João helped build SaaS and IaaS solutions for customer relationship management (CRM), content delivery networks (CDNs), and video streaming delivery & analytics.
