What Drives Him
He believes that sharing knowledge and experiences are key for human development. To do this in Project Management he has Volunteered for the Association for Project Management in Planning, Monitoring and Control as well as Risk Specific Interest Groups.
James believes in keeping things simple, efficiency of effort and re-use of data for information that allows for better decision making. This leads to an interest in digitalization to improve processes.
Back Story and Achievements
An engineer who moved into commercial roles that lead to developing an interest in project controls and project management. Worked on many projects including projects in the Government Major Projects Portfolio and within regulated industries.
Before Joining Laminar he held a PMO position at Director level in a multi-national company with over £1.5Bn turnover.
He has also worked with grassroots Charities and social enterprises and is proud of the work grassroots organizations do in improving the lives of their community.
