What Drives Her

AJ is driven by her desire to learn and curiosity about how things work. She is creative in the digital space and the physical world. She strives in an environment with the freedom to explore and experiment.

Back Story and Achievements

AJ has always been fascinated with Arts, design, and computers and started designing and building websites as early as 15. She studied both Multimedia Arts and Information Technology and was a consistent academic scholar during her studies. While studying at the university, she was the Head of the Multimedia Department of the R&D Unit and the VP for Publication of the Computer Students Society.

Since 2013, she has designed a wide range of digital products for companies in the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, South Africa, Australia, and Singapore. She also had the privilege of leading a team of 11 product designers and researchers for two years in her previous company.

She now uses her past experiences and lessons as a frequent guest speaker at schools and tech conferences. She shows the primarily young crowd the joys and challenges of working in the tech industry with the hope of inspiring and educating them.

Formal Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Diploma in Multimedia Arts.

Fun Facts

AJ is mixed-handed. She uses her left hand to draw, paint, and write and her right hand to do everything else.
