First as a human then as a civil engineer, Serra is driven by a desire to positively impacting the communities and the environment. She loves to pay attention to details and precision. She believes communication is essential to solving problems, and asking the right questions will pave the way for decision-makers.
Serra is a civil engineer and believes learning never stops. Supporting a client with new materials/technologies, techniques, and regulations is providing opportunities for ongoing education and personal growth.
Originally from Turkey and living in Istanbul.
She has worked with a contractor, Yapı Merkezi, on different projects in Tanzania and Ethiopia. She expanded her knowledge regarding project management, planning and cost control. Serra later decided to pursue her career at Mott MacDonald as a project manager and worked with cross-functional teams, and communicated effectively with stakeholders worldwide.
