Pooranan is driven and motivated by many things. Firstly, he is motivated by personal growth and development. He strives to assess himself to learn new things and believes in endless learning. He firmly believes that “The greatest enemy of learning is knowing”.
Another thing that motivates Pooranan is purpose. He strongly believes that a better world is the result of collective efforts from human beings, regardless of the size of their contributions. He is driven by the purpose of his profession, which is to leverage conventional construction to build a more sustainable world. He believes that without technological advancements in construction, it is impossible to achieve future sustainable goals.
Success and achievements, as well as client satisfaction, also motivate him. There are many motivations in Pooranan's profession that wake him up in the morning.
Pooranan comes from a small village in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He started his career as a civil engineer and later became a Planning Engineer. He moved to the UK to pursue a master’s degree. In the UK, Pooranan worked as a Planner on various projects, from small resurfacing jobs to big nuclear projects. This experience helped him learn a lot and become better at his job.

Pooranan loves cricket, both watching and playing. He's in a small cricket team in Bristol. He is a right-handed attacking batsman- not to the opponents! He thinks he's an all-rounder, but he doesn't want to ask his teammates about it.
