Duncan believes the key to improving efficiency comes through effective planning and strategic problem-solving. The cornerstone of his approach is focused the importance of depth of understanding the development, implementation and analysis of repeatable strategies and solutions.
Duncan thrives working closely with client teams to deliver effective solutions throughout the lifecycle of projects of all complexity levels by applying extensive transferable industry knowledge and understanding of wider prevailing factors.
Duncan has worked in the civil engineering industry for two decades, being at the forefront of a wide variety of projects within several different sectors.
He started his career as a Graduate Engineer working his way up to the position of Contracts Manager before pursuing his passion for the planning field.
He has worked for several Tier 1 contractors and major clients on everything from niche high-paced short duration marine civil engineering projects to multi-billion pound infrastructure and highly technical MEICA schemes.
Duncan’s technical and contractual experience provides him with a unique understanding and perspective to assist clients in efficiently navigating the wide variety of challenges they face to enable them to maximise the potential of any project.

In his spare time, Duncan enjoys catching up with family and friends. To relax he enjoys reading science and history non-fiction, developing his cooking skills (particularly barbequing for as much of the year as possible!) and following a wide range of sports.
